Linda Schmidt is the Founder and Principal of Ubuntu Facilitation Group. She facilitates YPO Forums, Harvard Business School Alumni Forums, Ubuntu Circles, Leadership Brand retreats, and
medical and other professional peer groups, working with executive and leadership teams across nonprofit and private enterprise.

Linda is known for creating high-trust, confidential environments that support purposeful growth alongside practical outcomes for leaders and organizations. She works with forums to deepen their
synergy and strengthen their leadership and forum journey, guiding members through transformative experiences that create lasting impact.
 

Linda is a YPO Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF), an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Coach (ACC), a Co-Active accredited coach trained through the Coach Training Institute (CTI), an Upside Coaching Catalyst and a Positive Intelligence PQ Coach, informed by Theory U and leadership development practices. She holds a degree in economics and organizational psychology, a master’s in business administration, and leadership training from Harvard Business School and Yale. Linda has been a featured speaker for YPO Global One, and for the YPO Summit in Paris, and her retreat design for YPO Presidents won the award for best overall global retreat for 2015.

She brings more than two decades of experience in management consulting, facilitation, and leadership training and development. She also serves as Director of DEIB for the International
Coaching Federation (ICF) of British Columbia, Canada. Her consulting practice spans strategy, communications, governance, branding, project leadership and systems integration, including work with Indigenous Nations in British Columbia, allowing her to bridge strategy with execution while supporting complex human and organizational systems.
 

Having lived and worked in South Africa, the United States, and Canada, Linda brings seasoned experience, cultural fluency, and a steady presence to her facilitation work. Her approach is
grounded in the Ubuntu leadership philosophy, “I am, because we are,” the understanding that who we become is shaped through our shared wisdom, relationships and our responsibility to one
another.
