Network Forums
NETWORK FORUM PARTICIPATION

Member Forums

They bring association, industry and network members together in peer groups. Members from various size firms, different specialties, and locations, meet in a confidential setting to share experiences and best practices, forming deep relationships under this Membership Benefit.

Key Executive Forums

They include C suite and management team members with similar job titles and responsibilities from different companies. The original attraction is a common professional education and language, however the true value of these peer groups grows when lifestyle, family issues, work challenges and market pressures, are shared in confidentiality.

STRATEGY

Why would we create peer groups within our Association?

Because members want a platform to share experiences and an intimate peer process for personal development.  They also want to exchange best practices, to embrace diverse relationships and to create intentional communication for membership value.

Network Forums

Our goal is to design network, chapter, and leadership peer groups which create new trusting connections for your members. Our unique training cadence, certified facilitators, peer alignment, perpetual advisory, and administrative support, will guarantee best practices in your Network Forums. Network forum members will experience a whole new level of intentional personal and business communication for themselves and for their key executives.

Development

Following facilitated learning sessions, your colleagues will meet independently in groups of 8-10 to share experiences and deepen relationships. Your leaders will be exposed to other professionals in confidential circles with opportunities to moderate and influence within your association. While forum participation is voluntary, commitments are made to each other in each forum.

Structure

The League is designed and administered by ForumWithin, facilitated by Certified Associates, and overseen by a Network Forum Officer and Leadership team. These players assess the companies, members, forums, and moderators.

FAQ - Network Forums

How are Network forums started for an association, chapter or network?

The key to forum participation is the endorsement and communication of the Network Forum to your members. Once members are aware of the Network Forum, an open enrollment period is announced to join membership forums and/or key executive forums. We start forum training, either virtually or in person, and prepare each peer group to be self-sustained and moderated.

Does ForumWithin perform the administration and training?

Yes, as a sponsored Vendor, ForumWithin will perform the duties of The Draft, Spring Training, Player Coaching, Retreats, and Forum Umpire.

What is the impact of Network forums on an organization?

Network Forums creates new untapped executive tier networks, new relationships, new champions, best practice exchange, and membership retention.

How does the organization support the Network forums?

Network Forum Leader per organization, chapter or network is recommended for guidance, member communication and feedback to ForumWithin. Once participants enroll, ForumWithin begins the team lineup and starts facilitated coaching.

What has been the retention rate of members and key executives in forums?

Over a three year period, we have seen less than 1% turnover during 300+ forum meetings from network and employee forums.

What does it cost a forum member to be in the Key Executive Forums?

For 2022 we anticipate $3,000 for the rookie year and $2,700 for renewal years per participant, depending on the organization, complexity, customization, and certified facilitator fee schedules. There is no cost structure for the organization but we will need feedback and guidance from your Leadership.

How do we SCALE forums for our Association special interest networks?

The challenge for most organizations is how to bring value to membership connections included in their dues or at the best buy-in cost. Our Certified Facilitators can create new forums or maintain healthy forums, rejuvenate moderator turnover, or address protocol decay or unhealthy habits.

YOUR NETWORK FORUM

Your industry, association, chapters, and leadership teams are unique. Your membership forum cycles will need to coordinate with your event calendar and education programs. We will help design and announce enrollment periods, teach ForumWithin processes to your members, and support your program.
